Planning a vacation? Here's where to go for half price hotels!

The weather is starting to heat up and this is about the time of year that we Arizonans start thinking about where we can escape to to get out of this heat.  My family is headed to San Diego in July, we were able to score half price hotel accomodations at Hotel del Coronado (supposedly a fancy type place) on Coronado island, on the beach.  How, you ask?  We managed to stumble upon this site, they highlight super discounted hotels, flights, and packages, and the great part is in this case you know what hotel it is ahead of time, so no guessing and hoping that 5 star really means 5 star.  If you click on "Places to go" on the top it shows LA, Napa, San Francisco, Sedona, San Diego, and more.  Here's what they're offering for San Diego today, 40% off a downtown hotel, making it $89 incl. weekends! 50% off peak-season hotel in mission valley + a complimentary upgrade, making it $89 as well!  These are great deals to take advantage of, and get a little vacation for not a lot of mula :).
